Most were produced by the Directorate of Extension under the Ministry of Food and Agriculture now Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The leaflets were designed for farmers and give practical tips on crop cultivation, soil care, pest control, irrigation, and improved farming tools. They cover a wide range of crops- rice, wheat, maize, pulses, oilseeds, fruits, and even commercial crops like ginger and clove. The research papers add more detailed studies and experimental findings related to these subjects. Together, the collection shows how agricultural knowledge was shared during the Green Revolution period and how farmers were encouraged to adopt better techniques.</dc:description><dc:rights xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Collection is open for access unless mentioned in specific folders of the finding aid.</dc:rights><dc:rights xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Copyright may not have been assigned to Archives, National Centre for Biological Sciences.
