It maps 76 confirmed species, noting their regional affinities (Palearctic vs. Oriental), altitudinal distribution, and unique faunal composition. The research identifies several new species and highlights the presence of 11 species endemic to J&K, which are not found elsewhere in India. The study also provides evidence for historical faunal migration patterns and environmental adaptations shaped by geography and climate.</dc:description><dc:rights xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Access Level 1: Online.
